IJDH is pleased to share the decision by Kenya’s High Court to block the deployment of Kenyan police officers to Haiti, as part of the UN-authorized Multinational Security Support Mission to Haiti. The Court ruled that the deployment is unconstitutional.

The ruling offers a critical chance for the international community to finally allow Haitians to take the lead on reclaiming their democracy.
