Haitian Artists Assembly of Massachusetts (HAAM) Releases their Artbook Migrating Colors: Haitian Arts in New England on January 12

To commemorate the 8th Anniversary of Haiti’s Jan. 12 Earthquake, JEBCA Editions is pleased to announce the release of the Haitian Artists Assembly of Massachusetts (HAAM) artbook Migrating Colors: Haitian Arts in New England featuring the artworks of 30 Haitian artists living in New England. Several pages of the book pay tribute to Haitian artists from the city of Jacmel, Haiti, and the survivors of Haiti’s January 12 Earthquake of 2010.
The event will take place on Friday, January 12 at 4 P.M. in the Mayor’s Neighborhood Gallery, located at the Boston City Hall, it is a symbolic remembrance of the earthquake that killed more than 230,000 people. Several dignitaries, including the Mayor of Boston Marty Walsh, and artists featured in the book are scheduled to attend the reception.
