Overview
The right to vote in free and fair elections is a right guaranteed by Haiti’s 1987 Constitution and binding international law. We believe that Haitians’ right to vote will be severely violated if the decision of Haiti’s Provisional Electoral Council (PEC), to exclude 14 parties from the Parliamentary elections previously scheduled for February and March 2010, is allowed to stand. We will continue to post relevant materials and potential actions as they become available. If you have additional information, please email us at info@ijdh.org.
