Boston Office Opening Event

Many thanks to those of you who helped celebrate our office opening on September 14!

The evening was a great success, with over 80 people in attendance, delicious Haitian rum punch, pikliz and more, served and prepared by our amazing team of IJDH interns and volunteers. The celebration featured some inspiring speeches from:

  • Manolia Charlotin, Boston Haitian Reporter Editor;
  • Marie St. Fleur, Esq., Boston Mayor Thomas Menino’s Chief of Advocacy and Strategic Investment;
  • Wadner Oge,Esq., IJDH volunteer;
  • Rob Broggi, IJDH board member; and our very own
  • Brian Concannon, Esq., IJDH Director.

We were thrilled to share the evening with so many of our supporters, partners, and members of the Haitian community. The entire IJDH team is grateful for such a warm welcoming to Boston!

For those of you who were not able to attend, we are sorry we missed you — but please look out for more ways to stay involved in the coming months and beyond! We would still love to see all of you at our new South Boston office, and share with you some of our work. So, follow us on Facebook, Twitter or our website to learn more.
